Going Home

With so many smiles
To hide all the fears,
And so many days
Are now filled with tears,

I need to go home
Means so many things
For the one whose hands
Were covered with rings.

We laugh and we cry
And smile so true.
We look at the times
That we spent with you.

From the winter heat
To the summer frost,
Shanon Van Houten
Will never be lost,

As so many dreams
were brought to an end,
My daughter, My sister
My mother, My friend,

There are no more nights
Where the mind will roam.
You are in God's hands
And you're going home!!!
