| A Tribute to Joanne Bleam October 8, 1961 ~ June 30, 2011 |
Joanne was taken from us so suddenly. We still can't believe she's gone. Life was snatched
away without warning. We never had a chance to say goodbye and that hurts so much.
She was bright, intelligent and kind. She was so full of fun, she laughed, she joked. We will
always remember her thoughtful deeds. Joanne loved where she lived, her friends, her family
and especially her cat, Blueberry. She loved her life! She was always there to help those
who needed it.
God gives everyone a talent, Joanne had many but her biggest was giving. She was a
caring daughter and sister, a devoted friend.
Joanne taught Relapse Prevention for Mental Illness to her Peers through the National
Alliance for the Mentally Ill. She loved attending Continuing Education trainings and would
help interview candidates for Case Managers at the Penn Foundation. She had many
interests and loved reminiscing about her Square Dancing days.
We would all love to say goodbye to Joanne. We loved her in life and will go on loving her in
our own special ways. Now at Peace, A Bright Star Shining down from heaven, she will be
