This is a special rememberance to my husband Peter. He was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the colon/rectum in July 2001, and passed in September 2003. We had been married 3 years when he was diagnosed.
Peter showed extreme courage and bravery throughout his illness. He taught me to love, to care, and to laugh, making jokes about his colostomy, and through it all, holding on to his dignity. He had an offbeat sense of humor, and was very original.
We were both visually-impaired, so we had to deal with blindness as well as his illness. I want to say that I was honored to be his wife, and his impact on my life will always be forever. Love you Peter. ~ S T |
