| I have felt the pain of loneliness Death's sting had left behind. The loss of my two husbands Weighed heavy on my heart and mind. I had to dig down deep inside, Searching for the will to live, Because Satan's lies kept telling me I had nothing left to give. Then one night I'd had enough Of Satan's lies and charms. So I wrapped my memories in a blanket of love, Safe inside my Savior's Arms. He said, "Come, and I will comfort you; I'll keep your memories safe with me. I will heal your broken heart; Take away your pain and misery." He said, 'Try not to dwell upon the past; Some memories make you blue. The gift I'll send you is called, 'The Present', And each coming day brings something new." He said, "Don't worry about tomorrow, Or what your future brings. Just try to live each day with love, And cherish all your dreams." * * * John 14:16 (The Coming Of The Holy Spirit) I will pray the Father, and He Shall give you another Comforter, That He may abide with you forever. * * * Many blessings. May God comfort you, whatever the need. Vickie |
