| Bob, Your Mom |
| This poem was written for Bob Blevins' mom. He is my husband's life long friend and his mom was killed in the Clovis, New Mexico, March tornadoes. She was the only death that tore apart three New Mexico towns and cities. ~ Carol |

| The lady wore a tender smile
as pleasure came from her offspring, while baking dishes in her style that warmed their hearts and made them sing. She shared her love for ninety years. The speakers at her service told of how her heart was pure as gold and how she faced life’s tears and fears. The tornado hit fast and quick and took the lady in the night. Her family knows she was God’s pick She’s with Him now, and she’s all right. The lady wears a tender smile. She’s baking dishes in God’s aisle. |
